I had a heck of a time trying to find the location of liquor stores in
North Carolina.  I finally turned up:

This appears to not be linked from the ABCBoards area.  It was well
hidden, but not from their own search feature.

It looks like the easiest one to get to from the Blue Ridge Parkway is
the one at 205 Tunnel Rd, by exiting the BRP at US 70 then going west
a couple of miles til you hit US 74.

I called the ABC Board at 828.251.6192 and found that the best Scotch
selection is actually at the store at 807 Merrimon Ave, aka US 25.
Looks like the best way there from the BRP is to get off at Webb Cove
Rd at Craven Gap.  Street Atlas says that becomes Beaver Dam Rd which
hits US 25 just north of the liquor store.  Phone number is 828.254.6531.
