Amazingly enough, she hung tough.   I donned a rainsuit (just in case she
suddenly "let go" while we were underway!) but never needed it.   We
stopped for lunch at lil' podunk shop and she merrily slept on her plate of
eggs.       She was one hurting pup.
Funny how some people are slower about learning that ' too much alcohol
hurts' lesson....
