Lemme guess... US-211, in the first little town east of Skyline Drive? FWIW, I doubt if it's the original. In fact, they had several as they'd wreck one or two of 'em taping just about every show. Maryland state motto: "If you can dream it, we can tax it." But there aren't many crossings on the Potomac. US-15 to the north isn't too far away but points you in the wrong direction if you're headed at all towards the east. And the next one to the south is way down at the DC beltway. So it does serve some purpose other than merely as a scenic. rc> I also wonder if he can refuse passangers. "Hey I don't like rc> Jap bikes. You can't come on my boat. Leave." But for a rc> $1.50 it was cool to take. They're actually very biker-friendly. When the line gets long, they let motorcycles jump it. As full as the ferry can get with cars, they can still squeeze a bike or two onto the fantail. Of course, the cagers don't understand this and it's great to watch them get steamed. -chuckle- But the line was short when I got there, the ferry was just loading and I rode straight on this time around.
