Um, Chris, like Duh. If you hadn't noticed I have done my best to not take notice of the XX bashing that occurs every now and then, although, like most, every now and then I get sucked in. In this particular instance, it was rather difficult to ignore. >> It's still a fact that my bike is more than 100 pounds lighter >> and makes at least two dozen more ponies than either of yours. 10lbs, 100lbs. Neither is a race bike. 12, 24hp, hell, I didn't notice that the XX was down 20hp for 2 years until Patrick pointed it out last summer! >> And did I mention the fully adjustable front and rear suspension? OK, that I like. But, just ask Patrick, I am the worlds worst feedback rider. (Patrick hate me). I have ripped every fast lap on the F4 on a bent bike. The XX has 45K miles on it, original shock and fork oil. Yes, I know, I know, my bad. So even if I had an adjustable suspension, I don't know what i would adjust. Not to say that this winter (job permitting) I'm thinking it is time for Race tech and Penske. >> P.S. Of course, I can't get a Givi rack for my bike, and I'm growing >> grayer waiting for Hepco and Becker to get off the dime. XX, 2 givi bags, 11 days, thousands of twisties, 4000 miles, good friends, life just get any better (well, if the Swedish bikini team showed up at BRCC or TWO it could have been a bit better.) Bikes are a very personal thing. The Busa does it for you. I've ridden one, nice bike, great power, but there is no way I could ride the distance I do on the XX on it. Plus, it is butt ugly. The XX does everything I want it to, and more. Street, touring, commuting, and even the track every now and then. My next bike will likely be the 2003 1200XX, then I can turn my current one into a sidecar!!: http://www.clarity.net/~paul/images/temp/P6240006.jpg -- ____________________________________________________________________ Paul Luevano | AMA * MSF |'99 CBR 600F4 (Racebike) http://teamdaemon.com | USM * CCS #898|'97 CBR 1100XX (Streetbike) Waltham, MA USA | NMA #116657 |'91 200TQ20V (Winter) _____"The purpose of man is to live, not to exist."-Jack London_____
