Subject: RE: [east] RE: home again From: "Dave McElvain" Date: Mon, 24 Jun 2002 10:20:41 -0400 I passed a matching set of ST1100's on a trailer somewhere in West Virginia, NJ plates on the truck. They waved as I passed and I just shook my head. Eric, was that you ;+} ___________ That same rig passed me on I-81 going north. Such a shame. It's really amazing how *slow* 65 mph is on the interstate until you're forced to do it. In the 250+ miles home, I passed TWO people and was passed by a cast of thousands. I should have had some orange cones around me . . . . The Jeep/trailer rig felt *much* lighter on the way back and was actually able to hold 50+ mph going up some of the larger hills. I found out what the source of the oil spewing was. The breather cap for the valve cover would spit up a little every so often and dribble down the back of the block. I lost very little oil on the return trip. Dave
