Subject: A wonderful romp From: Tom Biggs Date: Tue, 27 Jul 1999 19:24:57 -0400 (EDT) Hey all, Good seein' y'all agin. (Ah haint stopped tawkin' suthron since ah bin down ta Nawth Carolina.) Catness, thanks for organizing. I appreciate your taking the effort to pull this together. The FJ makes these long rides easy. I'm gonna head south again sometime soon. The BRP is wild - not just for the completely engineered curves, but also for the fact that there is about one bump every hundred miles. Coming from Pennsylvania, I couldn't believe it. How do they do it? I also like the steep switchbacks on those over-the-mountain state roads. Let's do it somewhere in the mountains again sometime. Several people asked about the ribbed ventilating shirt I was wearing. I ordered it from these folks: http://www.rvuultracool.com/ I bought the less expensive shirt without the ribbed sleeves, and it is *very* comfortable, but I think I would order the ribbed sleeve version if I were doing it again.
