Subject: How I spent the RCR From: fsommer@hadco.com Date: Tue, 27 Jul 1999 12:18:07 -0400 (EDT) My son and I arrived Wednesday afternoon and setup camp just before a large rain storm. My tent has been rained on 100 % of the times it has been setup. By warned, it will be at the MMT. Thursday and Friday we explored the area on and around the BRP. Thursday evening we visited with John, Erin, Fred, Eric and Bob from the TriDoD. On the way back in from Wilkesboro Friday afternoon, we ran across my friend Dan Miller from Dallas with his VTR1000. We went back to the Roost and caught up on what we had been doing since we saw each other last, and watched as the Denizens were arriving. Saturday Dan give my son Matt a ride on the VTR1000, because Emily is not fast enough for him. I still have three years until he starts driving. We got soaked on the back from the BRP, but if you don't get wet once in awhile, you aren't riding enough. I loaded Emily back into the truck and packed everthing but the tent in preparation for an early departure. The meal Saturday night was great. After taht the awards were presented among all the cries of "Show your t*ts." One of the harley boys from the other end of the camp ground came over, hearing the cries, and siddled up to Josh. He asked if this was private and Josh says he replied with a straight face "Yes" just as three men pulled up their shirts. He left and I bet they remember us. I stayed up way too late and was up and packed by 8:30 Sunday morning. We left at 8:45 and got home at midnight. Catness, many thanks, you did a wonderful job. Enjoy your year with Muffy. My son had a great time, and I was very happy to hear all the good comments about him and his behavior. He likes this crowd and his award of "Denizen in Training". If he owes anybody any money from billairds, let me know, I will send him to your house and he can work it off. Now I have to get a bigger bike to carry him and all the stuff for the next get together. Thanks again Catness.
