Subject: Big bite in the ass

Well, looks like I'll be missing most, if not all, of the RCR. My
workplace wants all vacations scheduled by March 15, and others beat me
to that time period.
At best, depending on what my weekend is that week, I could either slab
down Friday, spend Saturday there and slab back Sunday, or slab down
Sunday, then immediately turn around and take an entertaining route back
with someone.
 Neither one is terribly appealing; I'd much rather do the whole thing.
And given the way things work here, that vacation policy could pretty
much permanently lock me out of all future RCRs, unless I happen to hit
the right weekend by chance. Bummer.
