Subject: Fatigue... Well I feel like crap now after spending an all nighter doing it. The bike looks great. I welded the centerstand, changed the fork oil that smelled like it hadn't been changed in forever...Changed the oil/filter, Adjusted the valves, checked the timing, bled the brakes, cleaned/lubed/adjusted the chain, cleaned the bike and even mounted a compass under the fairing. When working on the chain i realized that I hadn't bought a new rear tire yet. The one that is on there won't make it to Maryland and back. Add to that the need for sleep and then trying to rush up there, leaves me just wanting to crawl into my bed and ignore the world for 16 hours. (the knowledge that my pager won't be going off from work related issues adds to that impetus). So it is with a heavy heart that I say I won't be heading up to the RCR. Mike, the check for my reservation is in the mailbox right now. Thanks for organizing the event. On a related note, I can say that since so many folks were not able to hit the RCR this year, what about showing at the AoDG? I'll organize the thing again this year. (unless another soul would like to do that function?) We can have it later this summer earlier than the usual time for the AoDG. A bit warmer than usual. Hows about that? now to the shower to get all this crud off me and then to get some sleep... ------------------------------------------------------------------ - Ryan Montieth Gill DoD# 0780 (Smug #1) / AMA / SOHC - - ryan.gill@turner.com I speak not for CNN, nor they for me - - rmgill@mindspring.com www.mindspring.com/~rmgill/ - - '85 Honda CB700S - '72 Honda CB750K - '76 Chevy MonteCarlo - ------------------------------------------------------------------
