Four of us started off a bit early for Pennyrile a bit early. (After getting separated from the group in the cave) Given the fact that it was over 100F, myself and someone else on a Concours (sorry, I've forgotten your name) weren't in the mood for "twisties". A rapid trip back to a cool shower and a short nap was my goal. We rode with the DiTullio bros. halfway back. They split off into Bowling Green to find a parts shop, and we hammered the rest of the way. The only differences in the two routes was a wider set of shoulders and a 20+ mph gain in average speed. As far as twisties go, they were pretty boring.
