Yes. :-) I thought of that... >I've traveled through enough of the south to know its not that rare! I've lived long enough in the south to know it is surprisingly (to a European) *common*! This is in fact one of the last questions I have to verify with the site before setting it in stone. I did ask before, when I was at the "casting it in damp concrete" stage, and the situation as I understand it is this: The park itself is technically dry, but according to the person I talked to, "technically" in this part of Kentucky means "not". :-) Our discussion came to the conclusion that we'd probably have to go to Hopkinsville to buy beer (the park doesn't sell it in their grocery store), but that there shouldn't be a problem with us bringing it in (and drinking it :-) ). I want to verify this a second time just to be sure, now we're at the stage of final arrangements. I'd like to emphasize again that unlike RCR's IV and V, we're back to a site where we aren't the only people there. In the past, this has never been a problem -- none of us have an "attitude" problem, we're all just out to relax and enjoy ourselves, and from what I've seen at all the other RCR's, this extends to being polite and considerate of the folks around us. I don't see bringing beer in, as we did at Cass, as being a problem -- there's no rampaging drunks (the closest we've had to that was me at RCR-IV ), and aside from Muffy there's nothing that could be considered unsuitable by the general public. It's not like we'll be doing donuts on the golf course. (i.e. Julie, you *could* bring your family to the RCR. IIRC, it *has* been done before, with absolutely no problems at all.)
