Wonderful, as is usually the case when net-bikers get together. The area is really nice with lots of beautiful roads to ride on. I went on the "slow" version of the Covered Brides Ride and had a blast. A couple of friends gave me some good advice about how to do better in the turns so I spent the weekend practicing. I dunno why I never figured out that higer revs/lower gear was the secret to getting around those curves. :-P I'm glad I finally found because it removed a lot of that heart diving into the bottom of my stomach feeling I get when I attempt curves. (and this is at *slow* speeds!) I'm *really* looking forward to improving my riding skills on the K75. Oh darn, I'll just have to go out and ride more. :-) I was disappointed to learn that you wouldn't be making it to the RCR. Oh well, there will be many others. Like...the Canadian Assault. Any SBLers going to that? > *GRIN*...congrats!!!! Now you can come up this way for a visit :> Oh my gawd--more power, more comfort, and twice the fuel capacity. I guess I'll just *have* to go visit Canada. :-) Cate Catherine Leonard | lunar23@voicenet.com | cleonard@astro.ocis.temple.edu Mehitabel: 1981 Honda CM400 Custom DoD Conformist (To The Stars!) #1482 Coming soon to a rest stop near you: 1994 Bmw K75/A Put on that Aerostich, Honey, and sit down...
