Gosh and my nice soft rest stop on Sunday night felt good after the long drive down BRP to Little Switzerland. > |Although the weather was cool and pleasant in Maryland and Virginia, it > |turned into the pit of hell in North Carolina and got worse the farther > |got. Even down in the lowlands of North Ga north of Gainsville weren't bad. I pulled in just alittle while ago, so that makes it 26 hours spent droning along at 55mph, it was fun and I found some places to camp. (not counting the near terminal boredom on Skyline drive) The ride up combined with the 6-7[?] hours spent in the saddle on saturday almost makes me wish I had a cage. I don't think my butt has ever been this sore. Kudos to those who orginised Mr Bill. Great Coffee Ian. I loved the Sport ride even though the barge and I spent most of the fast paced stuff 70mph + in the very back. As my first en masses DoD event I thought it was grand. I sorta wish it had lasted longer. As Catness put it "I hate having to say goodbye to all these people." I felt like I was leaving a childhood home behind on Sunday. Twas a grand affair folks. - Ryan Montieth Gill /|\ Scotland Forever DoD# 0780/AMA/SOHC - - _ryan.gill@turner.com or labrg@emory.edu_ '85 CB700S 'Mehev' - - I speak not for CNN, nor they for me.
