He's pretty resilient, and gets my vote for > BestSport. make that dirt and packed gravel.. at least it was packed. the triumph did well over this terrain.. i just wish my legs were about 2 inches longer. intercoms are great.. most of the time. im really enjoying mine - as soon as we make a few mondifications, etc. - it will be really great. he does earn the bestsport award.. after dealing w/ me yesterday and today *while* i was goin thru major PMS (bitch) and add to that the sweltering heat - he *still* sent me roses today :-))))))) > A summary: -- all in all, including the 10 miles of dirt/gravel road, i put 1031 miles on the trophy this weekend.. > -- Jean is a pretty damned good rider. i feel like i have come along way since last year. i found myself goin thru corners 15 - 20 mph over posted. and goin thru sweepers that i was previously afraid of doin 50 in - now takin them at 75. i didnt have any (what do u call em?) puckers(?) at speeds.. only while on gravel and trying to back up my bike and the "reverse" gear (steve g once, dave another time) not realizing that i needed to put my foot down and the bike had to lean in order for me to do that. its the slow speeds (10 mph) on gravel that get me :-) if i could only stretch my legs (long story on the triumph re-rotation of the thingy-adjuster and cutting down of the seat to be posted later). > -- Some days it's very hot.
