Actually, yes. And I was slightly off on the prices; I forgot Uncle Sam & the Colonel (US and state taxes), and the 'extra' person fee. Here's the way it'll go -- IF you want to reserve a cabin, the costs are slightly higher -- Base cost for One room cabin (4 person) for 2 people -- $32 + tax per night Base cost for Two room cabin (6 person) for 2 people -- $38 + tax per night Each additional adult costs $3.00, under 18 $1.50 (for those bringing kids) Please remember that the cabins are one double bed and the rest are bunks. Tax on the cabins it at 9%, because they fall under the room tax in Kentucky. Camping is $6.18 per night (3% tax on everything but "rooms"). As for deposits on cabins -- I MUST receive a deposit by 22 April. The deposit is required for cabins ONLY. I just found this out today, and I apologize for not bringing this up sooner. The minimum deposit is for one night, but if you want to pay for both night feel free. This is a rule imposed by the campground. I've held the 4 person cabins for a week and a half, until April 22. There was only one six person cabin available, as the other had already been claimed. Minimum deposit table: Persons 2 3 4 5 6 Cabin size 4 person 34.88 38.15 41.42 6 person 41.42 44.96 47.96 51.23 54.50 I'm maintaining a list of reservations received. Those who've already sent a reservation, I'll drop you an email shortly letting you know the status of your reservation (those who don't make the first group will be on reserve). Once that's sent, please send your deposit to: Josh Fielek 124 Highlands Parkway Newport News, VA 23603 Make the check payable to me. Deposits are not refundable -- if you have to pull out, I'll pass along the opportunity to an alternate and we'll fix it as we go. J -- Joshua J.
