Ah, RCR III. Becky and I on the Sweat Bike (otherwise known as the K bike). Temps in at least the high 90's, humidity in the low 3000's. We stopped at a rest stop in VA heading toward Skyline. I removed the lower part of my two piece Aerostich Roadcrafter. This was before I discovered soaking my helmet and clothes in ice water. The tank on the K gets so hot I felt like I was getting stung by bees on both of my inner thighs. Luckily, we ran straight into a downpour and both got soaked. Best rainstorm I can remember. The 'stich pants went back on a short while later. -- Jim Bessette | Experiencing | First BMW '89 K100RS/ABS bessette@drmail.dr.lucent.com | BMW evolution | Second BMW '93 R100GS/PD Westminster, CO.
