Because when the bike wouldn't run right, I'd already *be* home, not out of state. However, I must announce that today I SOLD MY BIKE. The trip home to and from Cass drove home the fact that the SecaII needs to be larger, more powerful, and better suspended for two-up touring or aggressive solo riding. I wandered down to the dealer to ask about old '92 or even '91 FJ's sitting in a crate somewhere; they said to clean the bike up really well, bring it in, and they'd see if they could sell it for me. I dropped it off this morning and they sold it in four hours. I'm bikeless. I have a couple leads on FJ1200's (a '91 and a '92) and an older VFR ('86). We'll see what happens. I can still walk in to school everyday, though it's a bit uncomfortable, what with the heat, humidity, helmet, and Aerostich.
