Sender: east-request@laser.east.sun.com Reply-To: east@laser.east.sun.com Apparently-To: Hi y'all, Almost 1300 kms (or about 800 miles). I'm typing while standing. I hope I didn't manage to drag too many people out of their slumber when I left at 3:30. I was planning to stay till about 5:30 but the cabin was too hot for me. Next time, I'm bringing a tent (and more earplugs if Sanji is there :-) ). I had a great time on 250 before I got to the 81. It was left, right, gravel, left, gravel, deer, right, gravel, more deer, left, right, car from behind (warp 8), deer, UFM (unidentified furry mammal), gravel, etc.. I still can't believe the number of deer in the area! Luckily, they were all munching happily at the side of the road and didn't run into my path. 81? Well, the interstate is BORING, BORING, BORING! I was going at a fair clip too. I was only passed by one guy in an Integra as I must have averaged 140kph or ~85-90mph. Even at this speed it took me till 7:30pm to get home since I needed a butt break every 2 hours. Next year I'll do it in 2 days, or buy a goldwing. I hope everyone else made it home safely. Maybe next year, I'll organize a Canadian thingy and you can all come up here to Canada eh? I will probably have some trip report or something later, right after I go out and buy some more asprin. - Mike (the beav) Beavington (pronounced bevington, but beevington)
