A friend of a friend (if anyone _really_ cares, I can get more info) marketed "Road Kill Jerky" a few years ago. It was basic mass produced beef jerky, with the exception of the shape - it was carefully formed into the shape of flattened 4-legged critters, complete with a tire tread embossed into the surface. Of course, I nominate it as the official snack food of the DoD. (Aw, what the hell. I nominate myself as the Keeper of the Edible Varmints.) If there is enough interest, I could try and obtain a batch, though I don't know if it's still in production or not. -- Jonathan E.
