Staru: a Description

Before the Staru War, this was a flourishing system. Agricultural products from Staru were shipped all over Scorpionis. The war fought here from 070-1117 to 349-1117 almost completely destroyed the system, leaving permanent ecological damage. The few survivors maintain just a TL-4 society based mainly on subsistence agriculture. A recolonization program is in the planning stages, and will be implemented as soon as the system is no longer part of the front line defense of the TradeMain Foundation. Until then, the system is under military administration.
